Buying Resale Homes:

FACT: Do not call the listing agent’s name on the for sale sign. 
That agent is working for the Seller and being paid by the seller.
TIP: When looking at homes, the least amount of information you give the Seller and their agent, the better it is for your negotiations.

          

 

 

Buying New Homes:

FACT: When you visit new home subdivision, YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REGISTER!
You can still view the models whether or not you fill out a registration form.
TIP:

The builders onsite sales staff will tell you that if your agent is not with you on your first visit, you can not have your agent represent you. This is absolutely false.  As long as you don’t fill out a registration form, you can have your agent represent.

    

 

 

 

New home sales agents try to get you to fill out the form, so they can make more money by you not being represented by your own agent. New home sales staff will tell you that you will get a better deal if you don’t have an agent. IT’S NOT TRUE! You actually end up  paying more because you don’t have a professional negotiating for you. REMEMBER…NEW HOME SALES AGENTS WORK FOR THE BUILDER… NOT YOU.
